To provide affordable, quality and professional medical services to all Sierra Leoneans and beyond.
We have in-house general physicians and specialists that render consultancy services to our walk-in patients. Our specialists are well experienced to help you with any medical issue. There is a detention are for admitted cases. Available specialists include but not limited to; Radiologists, Physician Specialist, Nephrologist, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Dietician, Paediatician etc
Clinical laboratory testing is an essential element in the delivery of health care services. Physicians use laboratory tests to assist in the detection, diagnosis, evaluation, monitoring, and treatment of diseases and other medical conditions. Testing is performed on body fluids, such as blood and urine, specimens collected for microbiological assessment, tissue biopsies, and other samples such as human cells. Our laboratory is a one stop shop for clients that walk into our facility. We provide up to speed test that are reliable to our seemingly satisfied clients. The laboratory works 24 hours.
Our 16 slice Siemens CT scan combines a series of X-ray images taken from different angles around your body and uses computer processing to create cross-sectional images (slices) of the bones, blood vessels and soft tissues inside your body. CT scan images provide more-detailed information than plain X-rays do. At SONOTECH, we have over the years provided our clients with the best CT scans, because of our reliable and accurate services, we receive referrals from major hospitals such as Ridge, Korle-bu, and Police hospital. Others are Tema general hospital and several private health facilities with the Greater Accra, Eastern, Volta and Central regions etc.
Our ultrasound facility is one of the best in the country, providing clients with clear and best imagery and results. An ultrasound scan is a medical test that uses high-frequency sound waves to capture live images from the inside of your body. It’s also known as sonography. An ultrasound allows your doctor to see problems with organs, vessels, and tissues without needing to make an incision. Unlike other imaging techniques, ultrasound uses no radiation. For this reason, it’s the preferred method for viewing a developing fetus during pregnancy. We have available 2D, 3D and 4D ultrasound scan services.
We also provide digital X-ray services, which is useful in detecting abnormalities within the body. This is a painless, non-invasive way to help diagnose problems such as broken bones, tumors, dental decay, and the presence of foreign bodies. Our state-of-the-art X-ray machines is able to provide quick and reliable reports as and when needed.
Among our services is the MRI scan. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a medical imaging technique that uses a magnetic field and computer-generated radio waves to create detailed images of the organs and tissues in your body. When you lie inside an MRI machine, the magnetic field temporarily realigns water molecules in your body. Radio waves cause these aligned atoms to produce faint signals, which are used to create cross-sectional MRI images. The MRI machine can also produce 3D images that can be viewed from different angles. It produces pictures from angles all around the body and shows up soft tissues very clearly.
Radiology is the use of medical imagery to diagnose and treat ailment. Our team of specialist and certified radiologist report on our scan services and outsourced services with respect to imagery diagnosis and treatment. Reports are done on a timely basis and with higher accuracy.
We also run a 24hr retail pharmacy in both branches which are well stocked with essential drugs that serves the community. We endeavor to deliver consistent and reliable service to our client, and also provide readily available drugs to our clients where they need our services. Our in-house pharmacist is at post to give first hand advice to our clients.
